Welcome to Churchtown Church of God
Welcome to the Churchtown Church of God where we are traditional but not old fashioned
Sunday Morning the 24th of October. We finish the story of King Hezekiah through the Psalms and through the prophet Isaiah. We finish by examining a couple of his "fatal flaws" and how they played out in the last days of his life - and who we can compare him to in scripture. We actually conclude with a question and answer period so that nothing is left unsaid. I pray that you are challenged by the story of King Hezekiah and that you are motivated to research him - and all of scripture for that matter - on your own. May God bless you and keep you always. We will see you in church.
Turning On the Lights! Tuesday Morning, October 26, 2021. This is the only livestream for this week and we take the time to go inside Psalm 24 to see just how jam-packed it is with wisdom and theology. What is the purpose of the church? What is at the core of the Gospel? Do we need Jesus AND..... Or can we stand with YHWH regardless of circumstances OR outcomes? Good questions - what are your answers? What are your answers? What are the answers of the Body of Christ? The time to stop playing church and be the church is NOW. God bless you and KEEP LOOKING UP! We sill see you in church!
Turning On the Lights! Thursday Morning July 15, 2021! Have faith in our religion! Staying in the fight, staying grounded in the Word, understanding what religion is and isn't - all important aspects of learning, growing, and becoming the child of God that HE wants you to be. Yes, we will place our faith in many things - make idols out of literally ANYTHING - thus our intentionality and desire for relationship with God will help define us - and our marriages, and our parenting, and our churches and our day-to-day choices. May God bless you and keep you and, as always, we will see you in church!
