“3Once we, too, were foolish and disobedient. We were misled and became slaves to many lusts and pleasures. Our lives were full of evil and envy, and we hated each other. 4But—“When God our Savior revealed his kindness and love, 5he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. 6He generously poured out the Spirit upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. 7Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life.” 8This is a trustworthy saying, and I want you to insist on these teachings so that all who trust in God will devote themselves to doing good. These teachings are good and beneficial for everyone.” (Titus 3:3-8 NLT)
This is the Gospel. The simple Gospel message – and it is embedded in one of the shortest “books” of the Bible; but our brother Paul never neglects an opportunity to share the Truth of salvation through Christ. Do you? We are commanded to preach the Gospel and to live the Gospel as we submit ourselves to the power of Holy Spirit – to grow more and more int eh image of Yahweh, The Most High. The Truth is simple; but the Truth is so powerful that it divides the world itself. It divides the world into those who believe and submit and those who do not. No, there is no middle ground when it comes to the simple Truth of salvation through the Christ. Your “goodness,” your upbringing, your status, or your “spirituality’ will not save you. Remember, Yahweh is a loving God – He loves you so much that He will only tell you the Truth and He will always give you what you seek. If you seek Him with your whole heart, you will receive Him by the power of His Holy Spirit and you will experience eternal life with Him on the re-created Earth. If you seek the god of this world, you will receive him and you will experience eternal life with the Satan in hell. Like I said, God is a good and loving God – He will give you what your heart truly desires. |
