20Now to Him who is able to do infinitely more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, 21to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:14-21 Berean Study Bible)
Please don’t tell me that “the church doesn’t matter.” Please don’t go around promoting the idea that, “we are not called to go to church-we are called to be the church.” (It’s not either/or, it’s both/and) Please don’t fall into the trap that church isn’t worth it, or valuable for you or that it just full of sinners and hypocrites and not relevant in this modern day and age.
I am not talking about Churchtown – I am talking about the church universal… the fellowship of believers… the gathering of the saints… the church for which Christ died and has empowered with His Spirit to both be and become the Kingdom of God on earth.
To turn away from church is to turn away from Jesus. There is no way around that. And don’t worry, there is always room for one more hypocritical sinner.
